Northern Soul LP by Erma Franklin, "Soul Sister," Brunswick Records BL754147, 1969, Stereo, Sealed.

Erma was the older sister of Aretha Franklin. Her recording career was brief because her record labels never knew quite what to do with her. This is considered her best album. Unfortunately, Erma died in 2002.

This album was reissued by Brunswick a few years back in LP form. However, "Light My Fire," and "Hold On, I'm Comin'," were not on that album and they are on this one. This album has a closeup cut on the lower right corner, a device not generally used anymore. There is also a note on the back about being able to play this record on mono players, which I don't think is on the reissue. So I'm reasonably certain this is an original pressing.

Tracks: By the Time I Get to Phoenix/Change My Thoughts From You/Light My Fire/You've Been Cancelled/For Once in My Life/Can't See My Way/Hold On, I'm Comin'/Saving My Love For You/Son of a Preacher Man/Gotta Find Me a Lover (24 Hours a Day)/Baby I Love You

Record is sealed and has the closeout cut mentioned before. The corners have broken through the shrinkwrap and have some light wear.
