Description

Released in 1987 in an edition of only 100 copies, all of which feature unique photo-artworks on both the cover and as a card-mounted insert (sometimes missing, but present here). Most covers feature a 'found' photograph chemically manipulated and altered, but this example features a unique creation on the front as well as inside. Both are signed and dated by Steven Stapleton.

The cover image is quite minimal, as looks like a surreal or dadaist painting, whereas the insert image is a very complex free-for-all explosion - due to the nature of the creation of these photo-art pieces, the images are textured and marked, and even have finger and handprints embedded into their surfaces. Please see the photos below for more details.

The vinyl is in superb condition, very clean with just one light surface mark which is inaudible. There is a small amount of crackle at the very end of one side - as this area is clean and unmarked it may be perhaps the pressing itself. Labels are clean, with slight spindle marks on the b-side label, otherwise pristine. The cover is similarly excellent, with just slight bumping to the lower left corner from front. Complete with photo-art insert, and further printed insert, both excellent.

A very fine example of a very rare release.

Will be sent well-protected in the finest card-mailer available, designed with overhang to prevent any further corner bumping.
