Description
Up for Auction is a rare, excellent MONO copy of the 10 inch single, first Aussie pressing of "Nat King Cole Sings Two In Love" by United States Blues/Jazz/Pop singer, Nat King Cole, circa 1954, on the Capital label in NEAR MINT condition as far as the actual record goes. The record is a 33 rpm, 10 inch.
The record is graded VERY GOOD PLUS The Sleeve is graded VERY GOOD The Labels are graded NEAR MINT The audio on both sides is graded NEAR MINT
The record has fine, light, surface hairlines here and there that can only be seen when looking at it under artificial light on an angle. In normal lighting conditions it looks NEAR MINT. The hairlines do not affect the quality of the audio play back in any way.
The record labels on both sides are crisp. bright, clean and undamaged in NEAR MINT condition with no sign of spindle wear or damage.
The album jacket has shelf wear on all three spines, very slight, light ring-wear on both sides. The front of the jacket has a couple of scratches showing white.
There is slight creasing and slight wear along the record entrance and creasing here and there coming in horizontally from the left spine. The rear of the jacket has very light shelf soiling in various places (see photos)
It is extremely rare to find a shellac record this old by a major star like Nat King Cole, in this fantastic a condition, after all the record is 62 years old.
This exact same record in similar condition sold for $122 Aus. on Ebay in 2015.
