Nat King Cole Treasury Unforgettable Longines 33 RPM 7 Records Box Set The grading specifics listed above are from my visual inspection.... on one album # 4 side 1 has a scratch that could cause the record to stick while playing All 7 records are in a box the box is open on the top with a flap that fold down that has the songs listed on it Not sure if this was the US edition or the Canada Edition See close up pictures 10 and 11 to see the songs on the 7th album Great easy listening On the sleeves of the albums ... These stereo recordings should only be played on stereophonic equipment. A cartridge weighing approximately 5 grams is ideal. We suggest a diamond stylus for finest reproduction and minimum record wear. 7 Albums in the 13" x 12" storage box weigh 3 pounds before being packed to ship.
More info ..The Longines Symphonette Society was a direct marketing company working out of Larchmont and, later, New Rochelle, New York; addresses that were also prominently printed on the labels of their releases. The company operated from the late 1960s until 1974 and was headed by Alan Cartoun, president and son of Longines Watch Company Chairman, Fred Cartoun. The Longines Symphonette Society was a direct marketing pioneer using personalized computer letters to promote LP records, 8 track tapes, electronics, books, and collector's medallions, but their main specialization was in mail-order LP box sets of classical and easy listening music as well as releasing LPs of old time radio (OTR) programs (it was a subsidiary of the Longines watch company that also sold its own private-label stereo phonographs).
It purchased the record club edition rights to the catalog of Capitol Records from the label for its Capitol Record Club in 1968 and continued to press Capitol LPs for the club until 1975, when it was shut down.
