Description
Nat King Cole "Unforgettable" 1953 Capitol Records T-357 mono Scranton Pressing. I believe this is the 1953 release, one of the early U.S. releases of this landmark album. Runout markings on the turquoise label: T1-357-D1 [Scranton anvil] / T2-357-D1#2 [Scranton anvil]. Sleeve is in remarkable shape, with only the very lightest scuff on both sides, a red promo stamp on the back (see photos), a little very light damage on the opening in the upper right, still an Excellent minus (EX-) sleeve. Vinyl is just as good. Visually very clean (but embossed with gold promo stamps on both sides), with only a little scuff to be made out under a strong lamp; it plays back with just a little crackle at the beginnings of both sides, but quiets down very nicely to a near perfect experience, an Excellent minus (EX-) piece of vinyl. This is a special copy of a special record. Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system. I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
