Description

Dark red label with silver/gold text, red vinyl. 8 tracks with leader, Pierce, piano. Features Dick Collins, solo trumpet. Also includes John Howell, lead trumpet; Cy Touff, bass trumpet; Jerry Coker, tenor sax, clarinet; Dick Hafer, alto and tenor sax, clarinet; Jack Nimitz, baritone sax; Red Kelly, bass; Gustafson, drums. Recorded in San Francisco in 1954. Very rare, original issue.

Cover: VG 5" split on the top edge; 2" split on the bottom edge. Aging on the back cover. Old price stamped on the back cover and date written in small print.

Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 1 small, light surface rub mark which does not affect the sound. there are a small number of light clicks. Most barely audible. Very fine condition, particularly for red vinyl. No groove noise. Fine quality and sound. Audibly checked.
