Description

This is a fun little find.  It an obscure album with an interesting history by a New York band:  The Necessaries.  This is an early new wave power pop group that released this album in the UK only and then pulled it from the shelves and reissued it with different tracks and mixes under the title Event Horizon.  But this is the original and the first and if you know about it it's really cool - If you like the Talking Heads, you might dig this album too.  It's less polished and more raw, but similar vibe - kind of Talking Heads meets Comsat Angels and hard to find.
