Description

Up for auction here is a copy of the Necros' IQ 32 7", first press with green labels. The sleeve is the limited edition sleeve put together specifically for a show at Endless Summer Skatepark. There were only 100 of the sleeves made, and this one is numbered 19 in blue ball point pen. The condition ain't so great--the sleeve is VG and shows some waviness from exposure to humidity. The ink from the pen used to number the record has "spread" somewhat as you can see from the picture, but the sleeve art is worn--the xerox toner, which was very thick, is starting to go at the edges. The record is a solid VG, with light scuffs and one moderate scratch. It plays through beautifully though--very little noise. Well, as well as a crappy NRP pressing ever plays through. The record comes with two lyric sheets, one of which I KNOW is a photocopy (you can see the creases from the original), and the other of which I THINK is a photocopy (it's a little cut off at the edges). But to make up for those flaws, I've dug into the archive and assembled photocopied a whole STACK of flyers and other goodies (like the press kit from their LP and a setlist for a show in DC) for you.

Because of all the extras with this auction, this item ships in an LP mailer.

TRADING

Do any of you crazy collectors have the Limp Richerds' self-titled cassette for sale or trade? I'll pay through the nose (or offer generous credit/trades) for a copy! Or any other Limps stuff, for that matter...get in touch if you do!

GRADING

Grading is sleeve first, then the record(s), then the insert (if any). A lot of ebay sellers advertise their used records as "unplayed," which is almost always BS. I will only describe records as unplayed if I got them straight from band members or as dead stock from record stores/distros/labels/etc.

Grades are:

  • Still Sealed - Record is still in shrink or loose wrap. I can only grade a sealed record's cover, not the disc itself.
  • NM - Near Mint. The record appears brand new with little or no signs of wear, perhaps a few small scuffs from the paper sleeve, but nothing more serious than that. The record should have a beautiful luster. Sleeves show no appreciable wear. The corners may be bumped, but aren't smashed.
  • EX - Excellent. The record looks beautiful, but shows signs of being played and handled carefully. There may be a small scuffs on the record, and some spindle trails on the labels, but the record will still have a nice shine to it. Sleeves show minor wear, but nothing noticable.
  • VG - Very Good. The record has been used, but not abused. There will be some scuffing, and maybe a couple light scratches. The grooves are starting to lose their luster. Sleeves will show some wear and dirtiness and may have a small split.
  • G - Good. The record has been used and abused. It's got scratches and scuffs galore, but will play through. Sleeves will show heavy wear and may have large splits. I do not accept returns or offer refunds on records graded G.
  • P - Poor. The record has been thrashed. It will be covered in scratches and scuffs, and may not even play through. Sleeves will be pretty much destroyed: smashed corners, massive splits, writing, and heavy ringwear are to be expected. I do not accept returns or offer refunds on records graded P.

US WINNERS

Payment is via paypal or US Postal Money Order (I prefer paypal--it's much easier).

If you've only won one auction, feel free to check out immediately. The shipping calculator will give you the correct total. If you've won more than one auction, please wait for me to send you an invoice with the correct shipping amount.

Insurance is mandatory for all purchases $50 or over. I offer First Class and Priority Mail shipping only. I don't like Media Mail, since the longer something's in the hands of the post office, the greater the risk is that it will be damaged. The only charge I tack onto the shipping total is $.50 for a brand new Bags Unlimited record mailer.

If you live in the DC area, you can come and pick your winnings up to save on shipping. Just drop me a line and we can work something out.

INTERNATIONAL WINNERS

Payment is via paypal only.

Please do not check out for this auction until I send you an invoice. Insurance IS available for overseas buyers, and is mandatory for all purchases of $50 or over. Shipping will be via Global Priority Mail (view rate table b) or First Class International, depending on how much it weighs. If you want a shipping quote, feel free to drop me a line and I'll give you the exact cost.
