Description
Negative Approach were an amazing hardcore band. They produced one of the greatest EPs ever.
Then they were an amazing noisepunk band. They produced one of the ugliest and most unsettling LPs ever.
Then they broke up...except they didn't. John Brannon hired a bunch of folks to back him up and went out tour with an all new Negative Approach. They were beyond amazing. It was unbelievably aggresssive noise without even the pretext of melody. They played a bunch of shows, then split for good. A few live recordings are circulating among fans, but they never made it into the studio and were completely forgotten.
This auction is for original flyer artwork for a July 7, 1984 show with the Big Boys, Offenders, and Party Owls at Liberty Lunch in Austin, TX.
Pasteup is red pen, black felt-tip marker, and various bits and pieces of rubber-cemented-on graphics. The rubber cement has yellowed and is starting to lose its stick. Condition is otherwise good. This is a unique item, so bid hard!
