Description

An original 1st press of COMES on USA Reprise. A monumental pain in the a*** to find in decent condition. The cover is literally papery and very muted colours - literally THE worst possible design ever for keeping in decent condition. THis one has lived its forty years in original shrinkwrap [which we've removed] and that's how we've managed to preserve it so well. And then comes the audio .....paired down Young audio is ALWAYS painfully difficult to find playing properly clean. So, this example is nailing it from several angles ....so don't underestimate how unusual that is...The vinyl comes housed in an original cover and there's a white inner too.
Vinyl (ExEx+) In excellent condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side, a coupe of superficial trails - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Importantly it's playing clean through all the lowkey and quiet moments. This is really an audiophiles treat! Just clean output leaving the listener to sit back and just take in the master at work!
Cover (Ex-) In great order and that aesthetic on the front is very well preserved. Not sure I've ever seen any better. Some light traces of ageing in the odd spot - nothing that noticeable. the rear is literally perfect! Hardly any edge wear - very very tidy. The spine is 100% intact - highly unusual. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super specimen.
Inner (Ex-) No splits.NO spits.
