Description
Harvest is the fourth studio album by the Canadian-American musician. It was released in the Reprise Records label in February 1972. It features The London Symphony Orchestra on two tracks and guests including David Crosby, Steven Stills, Graham Nash, Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor. It went to #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart for two weeks, and spawned two hit singles. “Old Man”, which peaked at #31 on the Hit 100 Singles chart, and “Heart Of Gold” which went all the way to #1. The album was the best-selling long player of 1972 in the U.S. It became Young’s signature album and best selling of his lengthy catalog. Too many accolades to list here about his album.
