Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Harvest by Neil Young, UK first pressing from 1972 on Reprise K54005.
The stamped matrix no.s are K 54005 A 2C and K 54005 B2 with etched matrix no.s MS 2032 31176 2C and MS 2032 31177 2C and STERLING stamped into both sides.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scratches but a few very faint paper lines that are inaudible.The labels are clean with no stickers, writing, or stains. There is just a very faint spindle line on each side.
The textured on the outside, matt in the middle gatefold cover, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., is in Near Mint condition. There are no tears, splits, scuffs, writing, stains or shelf wear. There is just a tiny dent to the bottom of the front and just the beginning of some faint browning / ageing to the edges..
The thick paper inner sleeve that matches the colour of the cover is also Near Mint with, again, just the beginning of some discolouration. Likewise the lyric insert.
In summary
, a great copy of a 40 year old record.
Comes from a smoke free home.
