I am putting up for auction several PROMO RECORDS from my vinyl collection. So, please check my other auctions.

In this auction is a GREAT NEIL YOUNG PROMOTIONAL RECORD for you to add to YOUR vinyl collection!!!

Here are the details about the record and sleeve in this auction:

·       “HARVEST” by Neil Young

·       This is Reprise Records LLP (meaning Little LP) #183.

·       This Record was issued in 1972.

·       This is a 7-inch EP that is a Compact 33 intended for jukebox play to promote the LP.

·       As you may know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS such as the one in this auction were issued in very limited quantities and only made available for promotional purposes to, for example, DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play or for juke box play. They were not made available to the general public, so they are VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities.

·       There are 3 cuts on one side and 2 cuts on the other side taken from NEIL YOUNG’S LANDMARK LP “HARVEST”.

·        Side 1 cuts are: “Old Man”, “The Needle And the Damage Done”, and “Heart of Gold”.

·       Side 2 cuts are: “Harvest” and “Alabama”.

·       This record comes with the VERY RARE PICTURE SLEEVE often missing from the record.

·       The PAPER PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There is slight fading on the left portion of the front cover (more pronounced in the image due to the flash and not that noticable when holding it and viewing it.) There are some LIGHT glue stains visible on the rear and VERY SLIGHT corner wear.

·       It is also referred to as LLP # 183 on the rear of the picture sleeve that accompanies the vinyl.

·       The VINYL (both sides) is graded NEAR MINT!!!   

·       As a BONUS, the high bidder will also receive 2 additional Neil Young PROMO 7-INCH RECORDS:

1)   “Sugar Mountain” b/w “Lookin’ For a Love”. This is Reprise Records RPS 134 released in 1975. This record is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.

2)   “Four Strong Winds” with one side in MONO and the other side in STEREO. This is Reprise Records RPS 1396 released in 1976. This record is in Strong VG Condition.

·       This “HARVEST” EP/LLP is a tough record to find these days with the Picture Sleeve in this BEAUTIFUL CONDITION, so don’t let this auction pass you by. It will be a wonderful addition to YOUR vinyl collection.

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
