Greetings All,
Up for sale is an original first pressing of Neil Young's serene 1974 classic "On The Beach." Reprise Catalog R 2180, Flower Pattern inside of jacket. Can't be a tough life having The Band backing you, this is a brilliant album!
The LP is close to flawless. This vinyl grades as a Excellent (EX) to Near Mint (NM). I even took additional photos beyond the standard face shots of the record to try and show the surface; there's a reflection off the surface of the record and (without sounding strange) a genuine glaze off of the surface that frankly only exists from barely having been played much. Please look at additional profile shots of the vinyl. You can see the record has tons of life and a very rich, unhampered surface with hardly any blemishes. A rich, transparent, and clean character to the vinyl. Play-tested and cleaned by me personally before listing. Plays perfectly from beginning to end. No hums, skips, interruptions, or distractions whatsoever. Brilliant example and a fine playing copy.
The album cover jacket has a small cutout impression at the very bottom right corner and small sticker residue on upper right. Overall, this cover jacket is flawless. Rich, rich color happening here. Really no creasing that I can see, tons of life. Looks crisp and fresh almost as if new. That being said to be fair, the sticker residue and cutout are a factor in condition so the cover jacket is a strong VG+. Light wear to the inner sleeve, still also very rich in color, also properly and adequately houses the record. Inner sleeve is a VG+.
This is a exemplary copy of this record. Tough to come by in stores these days, let alone in this shape. Will be sure to safely, properly, and carefully ship LP in a high-quality mailer with lots of care. As always, will provide a complimentary outer sleeve to house the LP in.
