Description
Neil Young Unplugged 1993 German Reprise Pressing M/NM 9362-45310-1.
Cover: Mint. I looked for flaws and I really couldn't find any. I got lucky with this copy (original owner)as it made it a long way through many channels and handling intact. I can't spot anything that would really be called a scuff( microscopic maybe) or corner dings, which is rare for me in my listing practices. The printed inner sleeve is nearly perfect, too. No splits.I see the very beginnings of a crease under bright light ,but it just isn't fully there. There seems to be the most minute beginnings of "disc indention" so common on these, but again, not even there yet. I would call this sleeve and inner sleeve mint.
Disc: Near Mint. Played through once(and enjoyed once).Side 1 has about 5-6 surface scratches under bright light for some reason(inaudible). Side 2 has maybe a ghost of 2 surface scratches(I had to peer hard to find them).Overall, nearly perfect visually. Audio: 99.9 % quiet and perfect. There is one minor tick just before the opening track on Side 1.That's it. No noise after the needle drop at the beginning of Side 2 either. Silence Only turntable rumble until the crowd gets faded in. I would call all of this disc's audio perfect. And, it sounds unreal. So well recorded/mixed/mastered. The bass playing the low G on "Unknown Legend" is breathtaking. I have decided to go all CD on Neil, Van, Dylan & Stones after about 1990 (too expensive to keep up with the import vinyl prices on these consistently prolific "twilight age" artists. Especially when you get to multi disc box sets on vinyl ("Bootleg Series") and items like "Greendale". 'Nuff Said...
