Neil Young First Album (S/T), 1st Issue (with No Name on cover). This mix is DIFFERENT from subsequent versions released (containing Neil Young name on cover). This alternate mix is not available officially anywhere but on this rare record! Check out the history of this record on-line. Neil did not like his own voice early on and felt vocals were too high in this original mix so later recording have vocals buried in mix. The instrumentation mixes are also different for a handful of songs! Great rare record...
Gatefold Cover VG/VG+, Vinyl Record EX/EX-
Cover has no major rips or tears. Does have minor creasing in one corner (upper left) and the seam is just starting to rip along the top of the second page and inside center of gatefold where there are inch-long strips of minor tearing. The cover does look a little dirty. It may be actual wear-and-tear/shelf damage (although inside gatefold has the same appearance but that seems to be intended by artist). Otherwise, in fantastic condition. Colors look great and there are no unwanted pen marks or distracting creases. Vinyl itself is actually NM (though I listed as more conservative EX). I just listened to it and it plays beautifully. There of some minor pops here and there but you'll find that common even with brand new records. Importantly there are no visible scratches or marks and record plays all the way through with no skips. Beautiful!
