Neos - Hassibah Gets Martian Brain Squeeze 7" KBD era

Little known but classic hardcore record from the Victoria, British Columbia hardcore scene of the early 80's.  The Neos had a stated desire to be the fastest band around and this release documents their success in this quest.  This is from the ORIGINAL canadian pressing of which 500 were made.  The stream of conciousness raving is on the bands label Alandhiscar records (shortened to AL records on the sleeve) and was released in 1982.  The music is fast, manic, weird, beautiful.  The lyric sheets (there are 3 of them) include instructions on how to play guitar, explanation of the Martian Brain Squeeze, diatribes, and even the printed music and drum parts to all of their songs.  14 (yes 14) tracks are included.  Awesome!

The vinyl has been played but does not skip and is in VG CONDITION (see rating reference below).  There is one visible mark on side A that causes a pop but no skipping.  The inner label on side B is bubbling slightly but is not discolored or marred in any way.  The sleeve is slightly yellowed and has 2 or 3 spots on the fron (visible in photo).  Otherwise, it is in great condition as are all of the lyric/music inserts.  Overall I think the sleeve and inserts are in VG+ condition.  The record and sleeve have been bagged and stored vertically since it was purchased (by me) in 1982.  Please see my other auctions for more KBD era records.

Mint (M) - Absolutely perfect in every way.

Excellent (EX) - A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. The sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.

 Very Good Plus (VG+) - A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK".  Sleeve will be creased or "rough around the edges".  Ring wear may be visible.

 Very Good (VG) - Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Labels and sleeve may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

 Good (G), Good Plus (G+) - A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

 Poor (P), Fair (F) - The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon.
