This auction is for "The Amazing Phantom Third Channel" seven-inch compilation featuring Neutral Milk Hotel, Watercolor Sunset, Crayon and Paste released in 1994 on Cher Doll Records. An already extremely limited pressing size of 300, this copy is from an edition of 50 with handmade covers (likely reserved for direct mail orders - this copy was mail-ordered at the time of release and subsequently kept in excellent condition). This is 29 from the numbered edition of 50 in collage-style jackets handmade from old sewing patterns. The back of the jacket is ink-stamped "Cher Doll" and numbered 29 in pencil. Included are the original blue and white photocopied inserts which contain liner notes by Jeff Mangum.
Finding a copy of the handmade cover edition of this record is extremely rare. Considering the fragile nature of the materials, finding a copy in this condition is not likely to happen again.
