Up for auction is an original, 1965 vinyl LP British issue of the rare British jazz album 'Western Reunion London 1965' by The New Jazz Orchestra.
Neil Ardley – one of the finest jazz composers and arrangers Britain has ever produced – led The New Jazz Orchestra, which consisted of some of the UK’s premier jazz musicians including Ian Carr, John Hiseman, Dave Gelly, Trevor Watts and Paul Rutherford.
The LP is in true NM/NM condition, played only once. Both sides of the vinyl have a lovely glossy sheen, and the labels are in perfect shape with no spindle marks. The LP plays perfectly on both sides, with no clicks, pops, surface marks or surface noise.
The laminated cover is in true NM condition, with no creases, seam splits, rips, tears or discolouration on the front or back.
