Description
Boosey & Hawkes SBH 3049, ‘The New Sounds + Voices’. Original UK library LP, 1973. Cover: mint. Vinyl: mint. Composers include Pete Moore & Tony Kinsey.
Lovely, relaxed, lilting, female bossa vocals over cool & funky grooves in a Jumping Jacques/Gimmicks/Peter Beasson-style idiom. ‘Windrush’, ‘Pensativo’, ‘Smile of a Stranger’, ‘Evensong’. Definitely one of the top two titles in this rare UK-only library series.
