Ridiculously rare first album by the Connecticut lounge singer Nick Apollo Forte most famous for playing Lou Canova in Woody Allen's Broadway Danny Rose. This album is not listed in his discography (or anywhere else for that matter!). Recorded in the same studio (Dynamic) around the same time (1972) and released on the same label as Dr Hooker's The Truth (XPL-1029, this one XPL-1032). The album is comprised of several standard covers like "Sunny" & "Proud Mary" and the very unstandard cover of Chicago's "Free" which ascends into the craziest psych lounge track if I ever heard one listen below!
