Nicholas Thomas Brignola.
Profile:
Favorite American jazz saxophonist (baritone, tenor, soprano, alto, bass sax, saxello) player.
Born : July 17, 1936 in Troy, New York.
Died : February 08, 2002 in Albany, New York.
Though Nick was mostly known as a bandleader, he performed and released albums with many famous and well-established musicians. He recorded the album Baritone Madness with one of his idols, bebop heavyweight Pepper Adams. He released several tribute albums with an equally stunning cast of musicians paying respect to Gerry Mulligan and Lee Morgan.
He played an integral role in the three-baritone sax band, which also played tribute to Gerry Mulligan. He recorded two incredible sets at the Sweet-Basil Lounge in New York city with Randy Brecker and Claudio Roditi, and played alongside fellow baritone sax player Ronnie Cuber on the album Baritone Explosion with Rein DeGraff.
- BIO - Park Frederick "Pepper" Adams III (October 8, 1930 – September 10, 1986) was an American jazz baritone saxophonist master and composer. He composed 42 pieces, was the leader on eighteen albums spanning 28 years, and participated in 600 sessions as a sideman. He worked with an array of musicians, and had especially fruitful collaborations with trumpeter Donald Byrd and as a member of the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band. -wikipedia

(NEAR MINT) The vinyl is almost flawless, bright and shiny. A very light minor, barely visible mark or two may be permitted. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked. Sleeve looks almost Mint.
VG++/EX
(VERY GOOD ++/ Excellent) Disc plays near perfectly, but may have minor, light scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a light hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked. Sleeve is Excellent.
