Played before listing and I would grade it as being in good condition. There is a moderate crackle through out when played. It's not at the stage as to overshadow or drown out the music but is noticeable through out, particularly with Nick Drake being a quite folk singer. I would say the music still sounds good. Side B is very similar to side A but perhaps a little bit better condition. Plays through with out any jumps etc and no pops.
Vinyl doesn't have any major defects and at first look seems to be nice and clean. There are a couple of small surface scratches but nothing that goes very deep. Once you get it under a bright light you can see there is a lot of marking and scratching to it, again all light and surface stuff. There are a few "grease" spots as well and some finger prints and the record could well do with a good clean if you have the machine to do it.
Labels are in very good condition overall and of course have the pink rim to it. Both have some light spindel wear and side 1 has a few spots on it.
Cover is in very good condition. Not much wrong with it really other than some wear along the three edges and corners. In some places this wear has worn away all the cover print back to the cardboard. Spine has a lot of this wear and both the name and title have been partially worn away. There is some light ring wear on both front and back, more noticeable on front. Also looks to be some damage from a price label at top right corner.
Plain paper inner in good condition with some marks to it.
Record comes in a thick plastic sleeve and will be posted in record mailer with stiffeners. Will also send it via special delivery. Collection can be arranged if you prefer.
