Nick Drake Five Leaves Left Island Record ILPS9105 Pink Label Original 1969 RARE
Vinyl: VG side two - track one has a scuff/hairline that is not deep and only causes one or two very light pops (not loud). Visually, the vinyl looks near excellent (besides side two track one) only a few extremely light hairlines when searched for in light. As good as the vinyl looks there is a light surface rustle fairly constant in the background in-between tracks and during some songs with more space / less vocal-instrumentation. The surface rustling is never overpowering and in many songs (for example Cello Song, Day Is Done, Way To Blue) it is barely heard. One Side One Track Three, Three Hours, there was a light pop. Side Two Track Four, Fruit Tree, also had one light pop. Neither were very loud. A Professional cleaning will likely help some. Overall this is a VERY solid copy of a very rare album! Very strong VG!
Jacket: VG+ light shelf wear to corners, seams have a little shelf wear, but are still very strong and the spine reads great! No writing, stickers, splits etc. Besides a little shelf aging this is a wonderful gatefold jacket!

There are three pressing variants from 1969 we are aware of. This press has a FLAT Pink Island label. The tracks, “Day Is Done” and Way To Blue” are reversed on the jacket, but in the correct order on the label.
