For sale is this hard to find 4 LP Boxset of NICK DRAKE - THE MAKING OF FIVE LEAVES LEFT on Island Records, 2025.
This is a new, still sealed example of this highly sought after finite four LP edition which is now seemingly sold out elsewhere. This set is in stock and ready for immediate shipping.
The four LP boxset includes the legendary and previously unreleased "Beverley Martyn Tape", numerous early and alternate takes of tracks from Nick Drake's gorgeous debut album, previously unreleased early songs and an extraordinary recently uncovered recording  - the so-called "Paul De Rivaz Reel" - of Nick playing songs and discussing arrangements with his string arranger Robert Kirby at University in preparation for one of his fabled early Cambridge appearances. The final disc of four in the set is a new pressing of the completed FIVE LEAVES LEFT album remastered by original Sound Techniques engineer JOHN WOOD. Also included is a new 60 page booklet written by Neil Storey in collaboration with Nick's biographer Richard Morton Jack about the making of the album.
Condition: The box set is in brand new condition, still in its original factory shrink wrap.
