Description
Original 1969 US 1st edition stereo early pressing of Nina Simone And Piano! Released on the orange RCA Victor label LSP-4102, it includes some Nina classics as the gospel Nobody's Fault But Mine, I Think It's Going To Rain Today, and a heartbreaking rendition of I Get Along Without You Very Well.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl has come up sparkling clean with a good lustrous sheen. Some trace lines, cleaning swirls and blemishes visible but nothing feelable. Clean labels and spindle holes- graded VG.
Playback reveals a warm, vibrant and nostalgic tone, smooth, detailed and evocative - a very engaging listen. The vinyl plays through as it should with some low intermittent background noise but no jumping or sticking.
The rigid cardboard outer sleeve is solid, clean & sturdy with minimal wear for the age. One corner is creased and mild spinewear but close to EX for the age. No splits, writing, stains, tape or tears.
The original colour printed inner sleeve is present & in excellent condition, however we have popped the record into a brand new poly lined inner sleeve to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A lovely original copy of a wonderful album, fully cleaned & tested, to own, play and enjoy!
