Nina Simone In Concert PHILLIPS PHM 200 135 MONO Original Press 1964 NM.J/VG+.LP. Near mint jacket, I mean wow! Other than light wear on bottom edge, this thing looks new, no plastic sleeve but probably lived with one til recently. Record has one light scratch on side 2, couldn't feel it with my fingernail. Sleeve has one tear in top. This thing really surprised me on how good it looks.

All records are visually graded. I do not have the time to play them. This is the general grading system I use:

VINYL GRADING SCALE

STILL SEALED (SS)

Mint (M) Perfect in every way. Never been played, possibly even still sealed. We usually won't grade this unless we really mean it.

Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear.

Excellent (EX) Light cover scratches in shape or circle from storing record. Light wear on corner of cover. Very light cleaning scratches on vinyl.

Very Good Plus (VG+) This will show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. The vinyl surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't greatly affect one's listening experiences. Very light warps that do not affect the sound or tracking may be present. The label may have some light ring wear or discoloration.

Very Good (VG) Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced for this grade. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in quiet passages or during a song's intro and fade, they will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that may affect the sound. The label may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and should play through without skipping. It will have significant surface noise, scratches and visible groove wear. Labels will have heavy wear. (If its is a vinyl you have been seeking for years, and the price is right, get it...but look to upgrade down the road)

JACKET GRADING SCALE:

STILL SEALED (SS) Even though a record is sealed the jacket may still have wear. This can result in a grade such as (SS VG+) (This means it is sealed but maybe it has some light ring wear from sitting for years or a very small cut in it somewhere.)

Mint (M) Perfect in every way.

Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect jacket. It should show no obvious signs of wear. The cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. Definitely no cut-out holes.

Very Good Plus (VG+) Jacket will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. Possible a well-repaired seam split that is no longer highly noticeable. The jacket may have slight signs of ring wear, or may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

Very Good (VG) The jacket can have any of the defects listed in VG+. It may have a little larger seam splits then the VG+ jacket could have. The jacket may also be marred by writing, or have tape, stickers, or their residue attached. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them. It may have larger seam splits that are carefully repaired and nearly un-noticeable.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+) The jacket will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the look of jacket.

Poor (P), Fair (F) The jacket can be water damaged, split on all three seams, heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves (if original) are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon. This could also have heavily repaired seam splits with tape.

As with any product, there may be small factory flaws or imperfections. Will need a good cleaning and or polishing as I only remove the dust and dirt with wet wipes for the pictures.
The picture was taken by me, they're not copied from the Internet. If you have any questions about the pictures, please contact me. Sometimes there are glares in the pictures, if there is anything to mention, l try to. I do miss some small scratches or imperfections on occasion. If you see something that I haven't described, please ask or let me know. I would appreciate it. I will address all concerns promptly.
I give as full a description as possible so as to avoid anyone getting something they didn't intend to. The pictures are part of the description, if it doesn't show it, it doesn't come with it. What you see in the pictures is what you get. I use props at times, these aren't included in the auction. If it requires batteries, they will be removed before shipping as the post office doesn't allow lithium and I don't want to accidentally let one slip through.
I assure you it will be packed well and shipped as described. I have found that the post office is very rough on packages. If a defective product is received, contact me immediately. I will require photo evidence of any and all defects before issuing a return or refund. All return shipping costs will be at buyers expense. I suggest you consider buying insurance on shipping($1.95 covers up to $50 of the value). I cannot be held responsible for damages caused by the post office. In all cases, if there is damage, keep the original box, packing materials and shipping label together and intact. Expecially so if it's insured.
I have to price shipping to cover as if each package were to go to the furtherest state, i.e. flat rate boxes. Tracking is provided in the priority shipping costs but not in first class. So if I ship this package 1st class, I add the additional $.95 for tracking in with the quoted price of shipping. Then eBay & Paypal takes 14% of the shipping costs. I don't agree with this part of the fees but can't do much about it. Then there's the costs of packing materials, and you wouldn't believe how much packing bubbles costs. I wished there were a better solution to cheaper shipping costs. Thanks for your understanding.
I do not sale on a "subject to approval upon delivery". I assume that the item you bid on and purchased was what you intended to bid on and purchase. Returns only accepted if item is broken upon arrival(through faulty packing) or if its not as I described. Please check all sizes, dimensions and descriptions before you bid. I have been known to forget to include a dimension, if I do or you want more dimensions or descriptions please ask. I normally can answer back within an hour for general information or the same day if I have to go to my inventory and locate the item. No buyers remorse.
