Please Read below for full description- I have been trading on ebay for many years and I am a professional within the music industry, although these items come from the person described originally. Please note a signed off letter by the person who obtained these items WILL be included with these items.

My name is Mark Richards and I have for sale 9 different items from the collection of Kurt Cobain. You'll be wondering how I got these items, and I will explain in depth as much as I can. First up I'm a huge music fan and I co opened a bar called 'Dirty Dukes'. We were located on Melrose Avenue in Seattle, not the infamous one in LA. We were part of Melrose Market back in the late 80s. Due to rising costs in the area which claimed RCKNDY the club that hosted every rock band known to man, we couldn't keep up costs and had to close. The shop should have gone in the winter of 94' but we somehow kept going into the following spring 95'.

I'm more of a bluesman myself but due to our location and the fact that we knew some guys involved within the music industry like John Spencer, some of the bands and members would hang out at our place for a few drinks. Members of Alice in Chains, Soundgarden would pop in before they exploded at least once a month. I wasn't always needed at the place but when I was their I saw Kurt on 3 different occasions. So what happened was that every Easter we would ask patrons to give clothes and if possible money to help the homeless. I am personally still into this in a big way, where I help locals and try to re house them. The amount of vets back then without a home was just shocking! Kurt came by and I don't remember the date but the year would have been 1992, I remember because he was talking about Freddie Mercury and how in England they were going to do this tribute show and that Nirvana should have opened. I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not. By this time Nirvana were big news right here in Seattle and I know they had made waves over in Europe too. Just to have him in our place hanging out was cool. We had started the collection and I asked him if he had anything he could donate. I remember he just opened his eyes, real wide and said yes of course, he was really into what we were doing. Now what you have to remember is that clothes and bits are just that, we weren't going to auction off something because it came from a famous singer, it was about giving items to people who needed it.

About a month later Kurt came back he was with a friend and I don't to this day know who he was. And Kurt has this box with a few t-shirts and something bizarre as his own personal swimming goggles which he said he'd had for years, I told him thanks. And I always remember that's when he gave us the drink bottle. It was gorgeous, he told me he got it in Hawaii, and he wanted it to be donated he said maybe one of the guys needs a secret drink more than me. My partner Josh was then in charge of getting items out and donating.  We would mark the boxes with the persons name, we did this so we could get in touch with them to say that their items had been donated. It got to the point where our boxes started from 10 to literally hundreds. So Josh got wind that one of the boxes belonged to Kurt, without telling me he took it home and just hoarded it and stored it away because it was Kurt's was his reasoning. I didn't find this out until the back end of 94 when the company was in a financial mess. Josh came clean and suggested selling the items might help the business- they wouldn't have as rents around the area had increased by 29%. It would have been a stay of execution and nothing else. Of course this was the same year that Kurt passed and on new year Josh offered me Kurt's items and I took them and stored them at my home, not knowing what I should do with them.

I am also offering personal bits that Kurt gave to the bar. These include a very rare handwritten lyric sheet 'SAD' which is from the song later released as 'SAPPY'. Kurt also drew a barfly at Dirty Duke's once when he was here. We stuck it behind the bar.  The setlist was a mocked show that never happened. We didn't even have a stage. Sure sometimes we would let buskers come in and play a few songs with what they had. So Kurt drew up this set list in case Nirvana were going to play. This was framed and again put behind the bar. Finally the photo was in the box that Kurt gave, I guess it shouldn't have been there. It looks like it was taken in Asia but I'm guessing it was right here in the States and was maybe in a Chinatown. The notes on the back do mention it. These are all of the items.
