Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Nirvana – MTV Unplugged in New York – RARE Original White Vinyl LP album from 1994.
This is the original White Vinyl issue from 1994
Please note: that the condition is acceptable and would NOT suit a fussy collector. This record would suit someone who just wants to play and enjoy it and doesn’t mind some wear.
Vinyl Condition: Fair (The record has a lot of light marks, light lines, light scuffs and some light scratches etc. Nothing major. There is light surface crackle throughout and the occasional pop and click but overall the record plays well with no sticks or jumps).
Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Inner sleeve has an approx. 8cm split to the bottom edge and has signs of handling. There is also a small tear at the top. I have placed the record in a plain white inner to protect the sleeve from further damage).
Outer Sleeve Condition: Fair (Outer sleeve has a lot of yellow stains and is generally looking a bit yellow. There is a small tear at the opening and some edge and corner wear and fraying at the corners. There are edge and corner creases and some general stain marks. Apart from that the sleeve is ok but is not perfect).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
