For Auction now ,
selling a very scarce original US first issue of Nirvana’s Nevermind LP
A record that needs no introductions.
Also included with this, a Promotional sticker, advertising the forthcoming tour on the rear.
Note: this came with the album when I purchased it on EBay some twenty years ago so I believe that the record may be a Promotional issue LP.
Matrix information are Side 1: MASTERDISK DGC- 24425-A-GLI
Side 2: MASTERDISK DGC-24425-B-GLI
NOTE: This is not the Record Club issue.
The vinyl has some light lines from inner bag removal and the only other issue to note are half a dozen clicks on the side 2 track “ Something in the Way”.
The Vinyl is difficult to grade as it has that shiny like new look and otherwise sounds incredible with little or no noise between tracks .
However , I am going to be very conservative indeed and grade the vinyl as Vg++
The vinyl sits nice and flat on the platter.
Overall, a fine example . The Audio is visceral, incredible.
The label shows very little use with no perceptible spindle marks on either side.
The cover is exemplary bar the smallest of corner bumps . I would grade this a conservative Ex++ and the inner Ex +
To conclude, a mighty fine example of this top - tier collectible.
The record will be packaged in a very sturdy mailer .
