Description
No Trend was an American noise rock and hardcore punk group from Ashton, Maryland, formed in 1982. They were considered anti-hardcore, with the members, especially guitarist and lyricist Frank Price, vehement about their abhorrence towards the punk youth subculture. The band was known for their confrontational stage performances, which normally involved aggressively baiting their punk audience.
No Trend quickly became part of the core of the early '80s DC punk. This was their second release on their own No Trend record label NT 002 in 1983 and was their first full length album. Two paper sleeves served as the "cover" and there was a lyric sheet insert and a 1983 tour list insert both paper as well.
I purchased this album in 1983 and am the original and only owner for the last 42 years. Fortunately kept it in a plastic album cover which is why it is in pristine condition.
The album is collector quality grade.
External paper covers, lyric insert, tour insert - NM (there are no wrinkles, tears or marks on front or back of all)
Vinyl - NM There are only two light scratches on this vinyl and are pictured above. Both are on the NO side. If one orients the NO label in a normal position, scratch one is at 12 noon radial on tracks 1 and 2, scratch two is at 8pm radial and on tracks 1 through 3. These are light scratches and visual only and cannot be felt with the fingertip.
