Description

No Wave...To Go is a rare, in its original pressing, sampler disc of some 1970's contemporary groups, including The Police, Joe Jackson, U.K. Squeeze, The Dickies, Klark Kent, and The Secret.  The sub-title of this 12 inch picture disc release is "Hold the Anchovies").  This picture disc pressing has never been played or displayed.

This is the original pizza cover picture disc and was released by A & M Records in 1977. It is now considered one of the iconic picture disc covers.  It is a simple design but also very humorous in its recognizable pizza pie familiarity. Not many things would look to be a more natural fit for a picture disc shape than a pizza pie shape.  Great conversation piece for a wall in a media room.

Please note: Picture discs do not normally have the same sonic quality of black vinyl records. These releases were designed primarily for the collector who purchases them to display on the wall.  This particular disc has two very interesting and different sides to display. The one most people are attracted to is the pizza side, which looks like a pizza pie all by itself when displayed.  There is no printing on either side of this disc, which makes it a bit of an anomaly as well. This disc is now 40 years old!
