Noah And The Whale - 5 Years Time (Vertigo 1774968/69) 2008 - 2 Part 7" Vinyl Set.
The Band: Indie folk-rock band from Twickenham, London (I think it used to be Surrey). Formed in 2006 by Charlie Fink (vocal, guitar), Doug Fink (drums), Tom Hobden (vocals), Fred Abbott (guitar, keyboards) and Urby Whale (bass). Doug Fink left in 2009 and has been replaced by Jack Hamson, other ex-participants include Emmy The Great and Laura Marling. They released their debut single "Five Years Time" in 2007 followed by "Two Bodies One Heart" in 2008. The first album "Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down" was released in August 2008 with the single "Shape Of My Heart" grazing the top hundred at No.94 followed by this re-release of "Five Years Time" which was their first top ten entry at No.7. An album "The A Sides" was also released in 2008 with the third album "First Days Of Spring" was released on August 31st 2009 which made No.16 in the UK chart, the first single from the album "Blue Skies" gave them a third top hundred appearance in the singles chart at No.95.
Two Part Vinyl Set: These are two original, two track UK 7 inch vinyl issues, housed in their original sleeves, limited and deleted singles set. Part one is a black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve. The second is a transluscent blue vinyl housed in a PVC envelope sleeve with an unbroken seal.
Part 1: Black Vinyl. Track List: Side 1: 1: 5 Years Time, Side 2: 2: I Have Nothing.
Part 2: Blue Vinyl. Track List: Side 1: 1: 5 Years Time, Side 2: 2: Red Alert.
Condition: Records: Mint. New & unplayed. The blue vinyl is sealed. Sleeve: Perfect.
Postage & Packing: The starting price does not include the cost of postage, packing (mailing bag) and ebay fee and are as follows: U.K. (First Class): £1.50, Europe (Airmail): £2.00, R.O.W. (Airmail): £2.50.
Multiple Purchases: Sending more than one item in a single package attracts a postal discount. These are calculated on the invoice. I charge the cost of the weight of the package plus packing cost and ebay listing fee.
Please Note: The price of postage given above is for first class only. Insurance is not included. Registered or signed for service is always available and is charged at an extra rate. Although a rare occurrence, I am not able to take responsibility for any items lost in the post, I always keep a proof of posting which is available to view via e-mail if required.
Postage & Packing Costs: I try to keep my postage and packing costs to a minimum and do not knowingly profiteer from postal costs. They are made up of the cost of the postage plus the cost of the packaging plus ebay fee.
Despatch Time: I pack and post items as quickly as I possibly can. I usually visit the post office twice weekly. The maximum delivery time will be ten days (UK) but will usually be quicker within three or four days.
