Reference Recordings RR-25 – “Nojima Plays Liszt,” Sonata in B Minor, Mephisto Waltz, La Campanella, Harmonies du Soir, Feux Follets, Minoru Nojima (1987) – This 33 1/3 rpm, pure analogue recording has been highly praised for its amazing sound quality - the piano sound is very realistic - big and warm with dynamic low bass. This copy is almost perfect – I purchased it sealed in 1987 when it was first released and have only plays it a few times since then. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is very quiet, with NO marks whatsoever. The vinyl looks and plays mint (M). The labels also look new. The jacket shows light shelf wear (see photos) so I will grade it EX. In summary, this is a NM copy of this pure analogue, audiophile recording.
