Description

This is Clef Records MG C-656, Jam Session # 6, a black, deep groove trumpet label, original mono issue of this outstanding recording featuring Bill Harris, Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Eldridge, Buddy DeFranco, Herb Ellis, and many more. The record is in VG+(+) condition showing some light marks but playing quietly throughout. Remarkable for a record this age. The beautiful David Stone Martin cover shows some light tape residue but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent. An exceptional collector's grade copy of this beautiful original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
