Listen to "Both Sides" and grade the record for yourself. The record has a great playback and perfect labels.

The record is very rare, in that, Emanuel Lasky only had about 12 45's to his credit and all were on very small independent record company labels. Wild Deuce Records only released 5 different singles in their short-lived history in 1965. So, Emanuel Lasky records were not molded in terms of millions- A few thousand is being optimistic- while several hundred is more realistic. Little is known about Emanual Laskey, a jet-black-complected, rail-thin Detroit soul singer. His discography lists 12 singles and no albums. Producer/Guitarist Don Davis wrote and produced Laskey's first four singles, this release being his last involvement with Lasky. This was before Davis worked with Steve Mancha (who purportedly is singing in the background of this single), Darrell Banks, The Dramatics, Johnnie Taylor, and others. Nothing like those singers, Laskey was similar to Deon Jackson and Jimmy Ruffin; his light, engaging first tenor fluttered with little effort and hinted of falsetto. You won't find an Emanuel Laskey compilation CD, if you don't have the original 45s you're pretty much out-of-luck. So that makes this record very rare- EVEN RARER IN THIS LIKE-NEW CONDITION!
