Description
An original first issue of :
CODY BLACK "MR. BLUE" / "YOU MUST BE IN LOVE" D-TOWN. **CRACKED**
If the record was not cracked it would be a lovely Mint-. To show the crack I have drawn the shape, this can be seen in the photos. The two ends of the crack go approx. a third of the way into the play grooves. If the record is cued up at approx 15 seconds into the record it plays fine from that point, this is a good few seconds before Cody comes in with his opening line of "They call me Mr Blue..." BUT prior to this point it is UNPLAYABLE as it sticks & jumps badly.
No one has tried to repair it with super glue or tape, but I have been told by someone that does record repairs that the play of the first section (as explained above) can't be made to play any better.
So, it's being sold as seen. Do not buy this record with the intention of making the first part play.
