 Mecie Jenkins - Come Back Pretty Baby b/w Jay Hodge Ork - Goatsville


Super rare 45, weird mix of Northern Soul/R&B with a rockabilly-esq instrumental flip side. Unfortunately there is a pretty bad skip on the Jay Hodge Ork song. Some pretty good wear on the record otherwise, but besides the one skip on the instrumental side, it plays through surprisingly well despite the appearance. There is some surface noise on both sides, but is never overpowering, A side is a solid listen throughout, plays through like a VG record. B side would be the same if it wasn't for the skip. It has been run through a VPI cleaner to try and clean up the skip, but it looks like it is there for good unfortunately.
