Description
FOLQUE - Same ( Philips 6317 025, Norway 1974 )
Here we have the rare and excellent 1st album from this Norwegian folk rock sextet - influenced from Fairport Convention or Spriguns this group produce some of the best Skandinavian ( or better European) folk LPs - 7 in all, and the first 3 LPs are the hardest to find. Including inventive playing on many instruments like various guitars (electric and acoustic), dulcimer, mandolin, bouzouki, bass, flute, piano, fiddle and others, all well arranged....and the wonderful clear female vocals from Lisa Helljesen. Comes with the mostly missing printed innersleeve.
The cover is in very good (vg) condition, has some wear on seams, tears and crinkles on front cover (see scan), a sticker with "LP 4" on backcover. But has NO serious defects - so I´ve given a very good grading.
The record is in very good plus (vg+) condition, shows several fine hairlines and surface marks - that produce some surface noise in parts - but NOT in a loud or disturbing way
