'O' LEVEL
Formed late in 1977, 'O' Level were among the first (and definitely among the best)
outfits to emerge out of the D.I.Y. revolution which followed the release of the first single by the Desperate Bicycles. the line-up was identical to that of The Television Personalities.
Recorded in November 1977 at I.P.S. Studios, London, and issued in may 1978 on psycho records, the 7" featured two primitively thrilling amateur-punk anthems, plus a third short cut entitled 'O' Levels, uncredited on labels or sleeve...(from Mario Panciera "(1976/1979) 45 Revolutions" book)
