Lee Ritenour Gentle Thoughts ( VIDC-1-E) Nautilus Recordings Direct To Disc, First Pressing. Brand New, Factory Sealed With OBI. Rare, out of print album for over 30 years. I am the original owner of this album and a private collector. This album has been in my possession since purchase and it is stored in a smoke free environment.
This ultra dynamic direct to disc album was one of several Direct To Disc Nautilus Recordings imported from Japan From JVC and one of the very few that do not feature an album number that does not start with NR. Nautilus imported several Direct to Disc albums before switching over to half-speed mastering to compete with Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. If you are a Nautilus Recordings collector you are sure to want to add this album to your collection.
Besides Lee, this albums supporting cast reads like a who's, who of some of the best jazz musicians of the modern era. Dave Grusin, Harvey Mason, Ernie Watts, Anthony Jackson, Steve Forman and Patrice Rushen. FYI both Dave Grusin and Patrice Rushen play a Fender Rhodes Proto-Type on third album.
