my name is Mark and I have been selling vinyl on Ebay for over six years on various accounts, and am returning having had a nine month break, with a vast array of fantastic quality vinyl to follow!!!

UK buyers are currently being offered the opportunity of 'free' postage for records - no seller can afford to absorb these costs, and I am no exception. I will comply with Ebay's request, but confirm that the following criteria will apply:-

- Not applicable to Paypal transactions, and only if paying by cheque and or postal order.

- Packaging will be reduced to keep my direct costs down, and one card card stiffener will be used instead of three, with no outer soft ploy bag to house the record

- Delivery will be at least seven days including the handling time due to the nature of second class

- All items are play graded on high quality equipment, and graded as per record collector grading. (I am very fussy, and tend to under grade' to ensure highly delighted buyers!!).

- Every record will be packed and shipped within a three day period from the point of payment...no exceptions!!

- I will always professionally clean all of my records where necessary using a wet cleaning system to remove all dust and static etc

*** THIS IS THE 'HOLY GRAIL' FOR O.C.S. COLLECTORS!!! - A 'ONE OFF' ACETATE FOR THEIR POOR-SELLING 1992 DEBUT ALBUM FINALLY RELEASED ON FONTANA IN 1992!!!***

THE BAND QUICKLY IGNORED THIS ALBUM, AND OTHER THAN THE FAMOUS PRODUCER JIMMY MILLER'S INVOLVEMENT, HATED THE 'WATERED DOWN' STRENGTH OF THE RECORDINGS VERSUS THEIR HIGH ENERGY LIVE GIGS FROM THIS PERIOD. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST SELLING ALBUM OF THEIR CAREER, AND DESPITE A QUICK SUCESSION OF THREE SINGLES RELEASED OFF IT (SWAY, GIVING IT ALL AWAY & DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR), BETWEEN FEBRUARY  - MAY 1992, THE ALBUM HAD SANK WITHOUT A TRACE BY SUMMER 1992.

THIS IS LITERALLY A 'ONE OFF' COPY THAT PROBABLY STARTED LIFE EITHER WITH THE BAND OR IT'S MANAGEMENT AS THEY WORKED ON THE FINAL TRACKLISTINGS AND MASTERING OF THE ALBUM.

THIS MEGA THICK ACETATE PRESSING ON 'COPYMASTERS' LISTS THE RELEASE LABEL AS 'PHONOGRAM', DESPITE THE FINAL LABEL ASSIGNED TO THE RELEASE BEING 'FONTANA'!!

IT IS CLEAR THAT THE BAND WERE STILL WORKING ON NAMING THE FINAL TRACK LISTINGS, WITH THE SECOND SINGLE 'GIVING IT ALL AWAY' NAMED 'GIVING IT ALL AWAY TO YOU'!!

I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING O.C.S. SINCE THE SINGLE 'SWAY' WAS RELEASED IN 1992, HAVE SEEN THE BAND LIVE MORE THAN THIRTY TIMES OVER THE YEARS, INCLUDING THE CLASSIC LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL GIG IN 1997....MAGIC!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COPY OF THIS ALBUM SINCE PURCHASING FROM EIL.COM IN 1997!!!

RECORD  CONDITION:-

SLEEVE - PLAIN WHITE Very thin card sleeve is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition, with MINIMAL creasing and NO ring wear, with NO grubbyness, NO splits!! Typed label in left hand corner stating band and title details.....

LABELS - labels are in SUPERB CONDITION, with hand written track an label detail written neatly on the copymasters acetate!!

VINYL - ZERO PLAYS from NEW!! Minimal if any hairlines, and NO scuffs or scratches!! Lovely shiny surfaces, beautiful!! Couple of very light scuffs and finger marks from being removed from the sleeve, but not scratches!! AT LEAST MINT MINUS CONDITION - LOOKS SUPERB!!

VINYL PLAYBACK  - PLEASE NOTE

Acetate albums are NOT designed to be played, although over the years it has been very tempting to test out this fantastic copy to see if there are any song length of mastering details. I have played small sections of the record and can confirm this is a 100% genuine acetate copy of their debut!!!
