OFEGE 'Try And Love' LP (US, Academy LPs, Catalogue #ALP001) Brand new/unplayed copy of long SOLD OUT/OUT OF PRINT, superior, limited year 2009 Academy LPs label LP edition of RARE 1973 Nigerian/West African Psychedelic Organ/Fuzz Guitar Psych Rock album by Ofege. Sounds like the band abducted the organ player from Afterglow or were simply just highly influenced by Pigpen's Vox Continental organ wizardry on "Cream Puff War" and the rest of the more amphetamine laced overdrive tracks on the first Grateful Dead LP. Originally released in 1973 in Nigeria on the EMI label.
