OFFICIAL BEATLES FAN CLUB CHRISTMAS MESSAGE 1964 RARE
"By the end of 1964, membership of the Official Beatles Fan Club of Great Britain had risen to over 65,000. Their second flexi-disc was recorded in October 1964 during sessions for the 'Beatles For Sale' album. As the final running time was only four minutes it was pressed to play at 45rpm. The notes on the back of the picture sleeve were written by Tony Barrow,Tony Barrow tells us in his notes for their 1964 release. He goes on to say, "...the project remains unique in that The Beatles are the only group to make personal message of this kind to their truest fans... these Christmas records remain personal and exclusive - collectors' gems whose value to Beatles People will increase with each year that passes" These records were never on sale in the shops and were only ever available to "Fan Club Members"
The record also includes the Official Beatles Fan Club National Newsletter for Christmas 1964, with pictures and signatures from the Beatles.
The record is in fantastic condition, there are no marks, scratches or writing on any part of it, the sleeve is in immaculate condition with no folds or writing.
