Description
nw_ecpGreat rockabilly 45 by Chuck Dockery and his Four Buddies on DEARBORN 531 : Rock While We Ride b/w Let's Make Love Tonight. This record was originally released in 1959 on the NEW SONG label out of Toledo, Ohio. This is a different version which was done by Chuck in the mid 60's on the local DEARBORN label out of Michigan. This version is more uptempo and with a guitar break as opposed to a sax break when compared to the original NEW SONG release. Labels show only light wear. Playing surface is nice and clean with only very light signs of wear. The record play grades VG+ overall. You won't be disappointed, it plays nice. Please see my other auctions.
Grading Scale:
NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.
VG++ = Somewhere between VG+ and Near Mint.
VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.
VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.
VG- = Somewhere between VG and G+.
G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.
Fair/Poor = I do not ever sell records at this grade, but they would be cracked, severly warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
I grade strictly by Goldmine's standards. Please ask questions before you bid. I accept Pay Pal or M.O.
