Description
British Mod classic from 1980. Band members include Dan Treacy and Joe Foster of TELEVISION PERSONALITIES. Both tracks were written and composed by band leader Ed Ball from O-LEVEL and the Mod super-group The TIMES. The real `79 Mod classic on the A-side is ‘I Helped Patrick McGoohan Escape’. As you know, three years later this song was re-released by The TIMES in a different picture sleeve. Here you get the original FIRST version. Also the B-side ‘We’re Not Sorry’ is a really super-song, topped with fantastic backing choruses. You are bidding on the original first pressing, released on the ‘Fab Listening’ label in conjunction with ‘Rough Trade’ in 1980 (catalogue number FL 1). Sleeve (see scan) and vinyl are used but plays without any probs.
