Description
OMD - Junk Culture - Fully Signed Vinyl LP
There were a number of these signed with silver pen for promotions when the album came out, so these are period signatures of the time. The sleeve is in very good condition, there's a light sticker removal mark on the bottom right, this has taken some of the gloss off the sleeve. There is light age related marking to the edges, but this is negligible. The record has been framed at some point, so there is very light fading from sun exposure, but as you can see from the photos this is not bad at all. The record is in excellent condition and comes with the original glossy inner sleeve. There are no spindle marks on the labels so not heavily played (I never played it).
I am only selling this as I have 2 copies. The final picture shows the 2 together, the other one being one of the Locomotion prizes with a letter from Virgin Records regarding this. The photo is provided purely to compare and verify the authenticity of the signatures. The 2nd record and letter do not come with this auction.
After 40 years of collecting, it is time to downsize my OMD collection, so will be listing a few rare items. All items have been lovingly cared for, and stored in protective covers since I acquired them.
All purchases will be posted in sturdy card packaging to ensure they arrive in top condition. I do recycle packaging to keep costs down, and will be using record mailers for these items.
All items sent by Royal Mail Second Class Small Parcel, at cost price (£3.20). This includes insurance of up to £20.00 and a certificate of postage will be retained for all items.
Postage discount for multiple purchases, £3.20 for up to 2KG weight.
