Here is a very nice copy of the classic UK Columbia mono LP by various artists, including Downliners Sect, The Syndicats, The Animals, The Moquettes, The Cheynes and many more, 'On The Scene', a mod/freakbeat classic, 33SX 1662, 1N/1N matrix suffixes, a UK first pressing!

The front-laminated, flipback sleeve has some  light edge creases, light corner scuffing and some light ringwear. There's also a bit of rippling at the corners and bottom edge, where there's evidence of some old damp marks. An old owner's name and address and a date is written in biro on the back, plus the letters AL. in black felt pen at bottom right, along with some age browning, and the green sticker you see in the picture has now gone, and it is clean underneath. Sleeve overall grades VG+.

Vinyl plays brilliantly, very shiny and glossy, some light hairlines and a few spindle marks on labels, but this is a classic loud cut piece of vinyl, whose stunning mono audio just leaps out of the speaker(s)! There is some light surface noise eveident, and a few light clicks here and there, but overall, the vinyl grades EX-. A great playing copy!
