Description
This is the "ON THE SHORE" 1970 UK LP by TREES 1st Press release on CBS - the 2nd LP released by TREES.

The LP was bought on its release in 1970, and is a 1st pressing.
The vinyl is on the CBS label, number 64168 and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers and "stampers":
- Side 1: S-64168 -A1 "V2"?
- Side 2: S-64168 -B1 "V2"?

Record is EX
side 1 of the vinyl is unmarked, nice black sheen, with just a few spindle marks visable in direct light, it does not look like a 42-year old record.
side 2 of the vinyl has a couple of surface marks between tracks 2 & 3, and at the end of track 4 - these do not affect the audio + just a few spindle marks visable in direct light.
PLAYTEST:
The LP plays really well, with nice, clean, undistorted audio, and just a pip between side 2 track 3 and track 4, and a couple of pips at the beginning of side 1 track 4
The cover is not laminated and is EX-, and has some general handling wear.
There is only partial ringwear on the front cover, and even less and hard to notice on the back cover.
As it is not laminated, there is wear on the corners and edges. The spine has some wear, but nearly all the lettering is clear.
The record sleeve is the CBS original, with some discolouring of the white background on the edges, due to its age.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
