Description

Very rare one-sided VICTOR RECORD No. 81028 by Italian Tenor ENRICO CARUSO. This is from Caruso's first recording session in America hold at Carnegie Hall, New York for Victor Talking Machine in February 1904. There is no indication of stamper (small letter G besides the record number on dead wax) and seems from the first edition - also, a letter D and Matrix B998 "E Lucevan le Stelle" Puccini's Tosca- Sig. Enrico Caruso. Blank side has "red seal" prices and notes dated January 1904. Disc is in good condition with perfect playback (Pre-electrical recording). Winning bidder should add S&H charges.
